APRICOT OAT SQUARES | |
2 c. quick cooking oats 1 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. apricot preserves 1 3/4 c. flour 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Combine oats, flour, butter, sugar, cinnamon and baking soda; mix until crumbly. Remove 2 cups and set aside. Press remainder of oat mixture into the bottom of prepared pan. Spread apricot preserves evenly on top. Crumble reserved oat mixture over preserves. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Cut into squares. Makes 30 squares. |
