CARAMEL TARTS 
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
4 egg yolks
2 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. browned sugar
2 c. cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter until fluffy; add flour and egg yolks. While coming to a boil, brown 2 tablespoons of sugar; add to mixture. Cook until thick. Add vanilla; put into refrigerator. When ready to use, put into baked pastry shells.
