MAPLE POACHED APPLES 
1/3 c. Weight Watchers Reduced-Calorie Syrup
3 tbsp. reduced-calorie butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg or allspice (optional)
4 sm. apples

In a 9 inch microwave safe pie plate, combine the syrup, butter, and if desired, the nutmeg and allspice. Microwave on High for 2 minutes.

Peel and core the apples, cut them into quarters. Roll the apples in the hot syrup mixture. Microwave core side down on High for 3 minutes. Turn the apple quarters and sprinkle with cinnamon. Microwave 4 to 5 minutes on High. Serve hot or at room temperature, do not refrigerate before serving. Divide into 4 equal servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
