MIRACLE WHIP DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE 
1 c. salad dressing
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 scant tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Sift all dry ingredients together. Add salad dressing, water and vanilla. Mix well with mixer. Butter 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.

Icing:

2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. half and half

Cook until mixture forms medium ball stage. Remove from heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoonful half and half. Beat until thick. Ice cooled cake.
