THURSDAY'S SIN 
1/2 c. butter
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
Whipped cream (opt.)

Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cook until chocolate and butter melt, stirring occasionally; set aside.

Combine eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 3 to 4 minutes. Add melted chocolate mixture and beat well. Pour chocolate mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until set. Let cool completely. Serve with whipped cream if desired. Yield: 1 (9") pie.
