BAKED GLAZED ONIONS 
4 med. onions, peeled
1 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
1/4 c. honey
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 c. water

Thinly slice off stem end of each onion and then score top of each about 1/2" deep.

In small bowl, combine butter, vinegar, mustard, paprika, honey, salt, pepper and cloves, whisking until smooth. Arrange onions in oven proof dish to fit snugly. Pour water around onions. Spoon about 2 teaspoons of glaze over each onion. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, basting with remaining sauce every 10 minutes. Serve onions with sauce. Serves 4.
