SCANDINAVIAN PATTIES WITH
MUSTARD SAUCE

1 (3 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
1/3 c. dairy sour cream
1 c. herb-seasoning stuffing mix
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lb. ground beef
2/3 c. dairy sour cream
2-3 tbsp. Dijon-style mustard

Drain mushrooms reserving 1/4 cup liquid; set aside. Combine 1/3 cup of the mushrooms, the stuffing mix, the 1/3 cup of sour cream, the onion, Worcestershire sauce. Add the ground beef and mix well. Shape into patties. Broil patties 3-4 inches from heat for 5-6 minutes on each side.

Serve with Mustard Sauce. In a saucepan combine remaining mushrooms, the mushroom liquid, the remaining sour cream, and the mustard. Heat and serve over patties. Serves 4 or 5. Just double all ingredients for larger servings.

Serve also Quick Dilly Bread. This is made by combining three tablespoons of softened butter, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon of dill weed. Set aside.

Place French bread slices on broiler tray. Broil 3-4 inches from heat until golden. Turn and spread butter mixture on untoasted side of bread. Broil until golden.
