MICROWAVE PECAN PIE 
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. corn syrup
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 c. pecan halves
1 baked 9-inch pastry shell

Place butter in a medium-size glass bowl. Cook on high 1 1/2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir in remaining ingredients except pastry shell. Pour mixture into shell. Cook or bake for 10-12 minutes, or until custard center is set. Cool and serve with whipped cream, if desired.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
