ZIPPY BEEF BISCUIT CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. diced green chilies or green peppers
8 oz. tomato sauce
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
1 (10 count) can of biscuits
1 egg, beaten
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
Paprika

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large skillet brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Add green chilies or green peppers, tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic powder. Heat until bubbly. Separate 1 can biscuits into 10 biscuits. Split each biscuits into two (to make twenty). Press 10 halves on bottom of lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Add egg and 1/2 shredded cheese to meat mixture. Spoon into prepared casserole. Place remaining biscuit halves to top. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded cheese and paprika. Bake 25 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
