BABA'S BEEFED - UP BISCUIT
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 can biscuits
1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg

Brown meat, onions and bell pepper; drain. Add tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic sauce; simmer. Pull apart each biscuit and press 10 over bottom of 8 or 9 inch baking pan.

Mix shredded cheese, sour cream and egg together and add to meat. Spoon over dough. Top with remaining biscuit and sprinkle with 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until deep golden brown.
