TOMATO PUDDING 
12 slices bread, toasted (white or whole wheat)
1 can (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 can (16 oz.) tomato sauce (herb flavored)
2 c. brown sugar
1/4 lb. butter (melted)

Cube or break in small pieces toasted bread and put in large casserole. Pour melted butter over and stir.

Heat tomato sauce (2 cans) in saucepan. Add the 2 cups brown sugar and stir. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour over toasted cubes and stir.

Place casserole in pan of water in oven. Bake 45 minutes at 275 degrees. Do not cover.
