APPLE CRUMB PIE 
5-7 tart apples
1 (9") unbaked pastry shell
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tbsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. flour
6 tbsp. butter

Peel apples, core and cut into eighths. Arrange in unbaked pastry shell. Mix sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples. Mix brown sugar with flour, cut in butter until crumbly, sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. If pie browns too quickly, cover with foil.
