APPLE CRUMB PIE 
6 tart apples
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pastry for 1 pie shell, 9 inch

Pare apples and slice into bowl. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over apple. Combine remaining sugar and flour with butter. Rub together with crumbs are formed. Pat crumbs over apples.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes and then at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve warm with cheese. Serves 8.
