APPLE CRUMB PIE 
6-8 tart apples, peeled & sliced
1 can pie or sliced apples
1/4 c. sugar (white)
1/3 c. butter
Pastry for 1 (9 inch) pie shell, uncooked
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. flour

Mix 1/4 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar and add cinnamon. Pour over apples. Put apple mixture into pastry shell. Combine remaining sugar and flour. Add butter and rub into crumbs. Sprinkle crumbs over apples. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes longer. Serve hot and may be reheated.
