LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 (12 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
lasagna noodles
2 small cans mushrooms
cottage cheese
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Parmesan cheese

Crumble hamburger; cook and drain off grease. Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, onions and spices. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Cook 8 lasagna noodles. In a glass 9 x 12 baking dish, make layers of meat sauce, mushrooms, noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Repeat for second layer.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Let set for 1/2 hour after baking.
