REUBEN LOAF 
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
1 tbsp. butter
1/4-1/2 lb. Swiss cheese
1/2 lb. pastrami or corn beef, sliced thin
1/4-1/2 c. Thousand Island dressing
8 oz. sauerkraut
Sesame seed

NOTE: Reserve 1/2 to 3/4 cup flour.

Mix: sugar, water, yeast and let sit 5 minutes. Then add mixture to flour, salt and butter. Mix well and then knead for 5 minutes. Grease cookie sheet well. Roll out dough into a 10 x 14 inch rectangle. Put onto cookie sheet and finger dough out more to equal 10 x 14 inch size.

Layer: down the middle area, a little dressing, then corn beef or pastrami, then sauerkraut, then dressing and finally cheese. Then cut dough down sides in 1 to 1 1/2 inch slits. Then braid from left to right the dough slits tucking ends in.

Let rise 15-20 minutes. Then bake 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Lightly butter top and top with sesame seeds and heat for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.
