CRANBERRY - NUTMEG BARS 
CRUST:

1 box butter cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix together until crumbly. Sprinkle into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and egg. Pour over crust. Mix nutmeg and cranberry sauce. Make 3 rows lengthwise over cheese mixture with cranberry sauce. Use knife to swirl. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (This is a good Thanksgiving and Christmas recipe.)
