INDONESIAN FRIED SPARERIBS 
10-12 oz. spareribs
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic
1/2 tsp. five spice powder
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tbsp. wine
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. oil

Cut spareribs into small pieces. Mix next 7 ingredients, add spareribs and let stand for 30 minutes. Dip each rib into egg yolk and coat with cornstarch. Heat pan and add oil. Place spareribs in pan and fry over medium heat until golden brown on each side. Garnish with carrots and parsley.
