TURNIPS AND ONIONS 
6 med. turnips, peeled & sliced
2 c. sliced onion
1 chicken flavored bouillon cube
1/2 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. freeze dried chives

Place turnips and onion in a 2 quart casserole. Dissolve bouillon cube in water; stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over vegetables. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Yield: 6 servings.
