HEARTY BEEF STEW | |
2 lbs. stew beef 1 lg. onion, cut in chunks 5 carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces 3 stalks celery, diced 1 (12 oz.) can tomatoes 1/2 c. of quick cooking tapioca 1 whole clove or 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 2 bay leaves Salt and pepper to taste Trim off fat from beef. Put all ingredients in crockpot. Mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on low for 12 hours or high for 5 to 6 hours. |
