OATMEAL - PRALINE COFFEE CAKE | |
Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover with foil. Grease foil. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons oatmeal. Mix: 1/2 c. white sugar 1 stick butter Add: 1 c. milk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. oatmeal 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1/2 c. Golden raisins Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. PRALINE TOPPING: 1 stick butter 1/2 c. chopped pecans 3/4 c. brown sugar Spread topping on hot cake. Arrange pecan halves around outer edge. Broil 2 minutes, until bubbly! |
