AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 
1/2 - 1 lb. lean pork or veal
1 onion, sliced
2 c. chopped celery
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. uncooked rice
5 c. meat stock
Salt and pepper
1-2 tbsp. chop suey sauce

Brown meat and onion in a little oil and add other ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes. Uncover last 10 minutes. Serve hot.
