1/2 c. milk, sweet or sour 1 egg 1 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. whole wheat flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 3 heaping tbsp. bran 2 tbsp. oat bran Water Beat milk, egg and oil. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Add brans quickly and gently. (May use all straight wheat bran.) Use just enough water to make the batter the consistency you like. Slightly thick is best. Serves 2. |
