NAN'S STIR FRIED CABBAGE 
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. dried pepper flakes
8 c. shredded cabbage
1/3 c. shallots, chopped

Combine first 4 ingredients. Heat oil in skillet or wok and when hot add cabbage, shallots and pepper flakes. Also add condiments and stir fry about 10 minutes. Cabbage should still be crisp. Serves 6-8.
