KIELBASA WITH BEER 
6 slices bacon, cut into 1" pieces
1 lb. kielbasa, cut into slices
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 c. beer
1 med. cabbage, finely sliced
2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. hot water

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from pan. Use only 1 tablespoon of the drippings. Add kielbassa, onion and beer; cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes. Add cabbage, sugar and pepper. Cook, covered, another 15 minutes. Blend flour and water and stir into the cabbage mixture. Stir until liquid thickens. Fold in the bacon and serve with hot boiled potatoes.
