PASS 'EM AGAIN COOKIES | |
1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar, packed 1 1/2 c. Crisco or half butter 2 eggs Scant 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 3 c. unsifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda, add to 2 tsp. vinegar in c. it will foam 1 tsp. vanilla Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs. Mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients (except soda). Mix. Add vanilla and soda mixture. You may add 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans) if you wish. Chill dough. Make into balls and press with buttered and sugared bottom of glass. Bake 10-12 minutes in a 325 degree oven. These are very crunchy cookies. |
