MOM'S MASHED POTATO CASSEROLE 
2 lb. potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1 pkg. cream cheese (3 oz.)
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/2 c. sour cream
Dash pepper

Cook potatoes in boiling water. Mash with milk and butter. Beat in remaining ingredients. Put in 2 quart casserole. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Can be prepared night before.
