WALNUT BUTTER CRUNCH 
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. chopped nuts

TOPPING:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Melt butter, add sugar, water and syrup. Cook to 290 degrees on candy thermometer. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and add nuts. Quickly pour into 2 ungreased cookie sheets.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of hot candy. When melted, spread and top with chopped nuts. Break into pieces when cool.
