BIG ITALIAN FAMILY CHEESECAKE 
16 oz. creamed cottage cheese
16 oz. cream cheese
4 eggs
16 oz. sour cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
List #2:
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. vanilla
Juice of 1/2 lemon

In blender whip cottage cheese until smooth. Add softened cream cheese; blend. Add eggs, blending after each. Pour into large bowl. Add sugar; mix. Add 4 ingredients all at once from list #2. Fold in sour cream.

Butter spring pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off oven and leave in for 1 hour more. Do not open oven door! Remove from oven and cool then refrigerate. This is the original Italian cheesecake!

This has been my go-to cheesecake recipe for about 10 years now. Every time I make it, I get so many compliments. The cottage cheese seems to keep it from feeling too dense, but it remains so creamy and delicious. It freezes well in individual slices.
