CARAMEL FUDGE 
6 c. sugar
2 c. canned milk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 stick butter, butter
3 c. pecans

Put 2 cups sugar in heavy skillet and melt slowly. At sometime put 4 cups sugar and milk in another skillet and cook slowly. When sugar is melted add to sugar and milk mixture and cook to soft ball stage. Remove from fire; stir in soda. Add butter and cool 20 minutes. Beat until thick. Add nuts and pour in 10 x 15 inch dish.
