1/2 c. soft shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. nuts
2 3/4 c. flour
1 c. Carnation milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix shortening, sugars and eggs. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
