CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
6 cooked sweet potatoes, peeled and halved lengthwise

In 6 quart Dutch oven, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt. Over medium low heat, bring mixture to boil. Stir until butter melts and sugar dissolves.

Reduce heat to low. Add sweet potatoes. Baste with syrup. Cook, covered, turning once, for 15 minutes. Uncover; cook, basting occasionally, for 15 minutes or until potatoes are well glazed. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
