CHOCOLATE HEAVY CAKE 
Cake:

3 c. Flour
1 tbsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. Cocoa
2 c. Sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tbsp. Vinegar
3/4 c. Oil
2 c. Water

Icing:

5 tbsp. Flour
1 1/2 c. Milk
1 c. Crisco Shortening
1/2 c. Confectioner Sugar
1/2 c. White Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Mix all cake ingredients. Grease and flour pan.

Bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes. Cool completely.

ICING: With a wire whisk, mix flour with 1 1/2 cup milk in small saucepan. Cook until a thick paste forms - stirring constantly. Take off heat, cover and cool completely.

Add both sugars, crisco and vanilla (may add food coloring of choice-if desired). Beat several minutes until mixture becomes stiff and forms peaks. Keep refrigerated.
