REMARKABLE FUDGE 
4 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk (14 1/2 oz. can)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (12 oz.)
1 pt. marshmallow cream
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan; roll it around sides of pan to grease well. Add sugar and milk and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently to soft ball stage (236 degrees). Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients. Beat until chocolate is melted and blended. Pour into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Score, cool, cut in squares.
