MICROWAVE BROWNIES 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. cocoa
3/4 c. unsifted flour
1 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips (optional)
1 c. flaked coconut (optional)

In a small bowl, beat eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add melted butter and blend thoroughly. Mix in flour and cocoa at low speed. Stir in 1 cup nuts. Spread evenly in a greased 8 inch microwaveable pan. Microwave on high 6 to 7 minutes, rotating 1/4 turn every 2 minutes until brownies look dry but spring back to the touch. Cut when cool. You can add chocolate chips or coconut to batter, if desired.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
