PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. firm packed light brown sugar
1 c. quick oats
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. plain chocolate candies
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. peanuts

Beat butter, peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg. Add combined oats, flour, soda and salt. Mix well. Stir in candies and peanuts.

Drop dough by the heaping tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet, about 3 inches apart. If desired press 2 or 3 candies into dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack after after about 5 minutes cooling on cookie sheet. Cool thoroughly. Makes 3 dozen 3 inch cookies.
