CHEESE CHOWDER 
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. flour
4 c. milk
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
1/2 c. carrots, finely chopped
1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
Dash of paprika and salt
1 c. American process cheese, chopped fine

Cook onion in butter. Add flour. Stir in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat. Add cheese. Stir to melt. Simmer 15 minutes.
