1/2 lb. (2 c.) Swiss cheese 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1/2 c. butter, at room temperature 3/4 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 egg 1 tsp. water Paprika Knead together first 6 ingredients, form into a ball and chill 15 minutes. Break off teaspoons and flatten on cookie sheet. Brush with egg beaten with water. Put in hot 425 degree oven, 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool and sprinkle with paprika. |
