CHERRY RHUBARB DESSERT 
CRUST:

1 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
Salt
1/2 c. butter, melted

Mix and put half the mixture in 9"x13" pan. Bake about 15 minutes or until set.

FILLING:

4 c. diced rhubarb
1 c. sugar, mixed with 2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 tsp. almond flavoring & red food coloring
1/2 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
1 can cherry pie filling

Put rhubarb on top of crust. Boil sugar, cornstarch and water until thick. Remove from heat and add cherry pie mix and flavoring. Spoon over rhubarb. Top with remaining crust mixture.
