REUBEN SANDWICH 
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
1/2 c. Thousand Island dressing
12 slices Beefsteak rye bread
6-8 oz. corned beef
6 slices Swiss cheese
Softened butter

In medium bowl combine sauerkraut and dressing; mix well. Let stand 30 minutes. Preheat griddle. Onto each of 6 slices of bread, layer 1 to 2 ounces corned beef and 1 slice of cheese. Spread 1/3 cup sauerkraut mixture over the cheese. Top with remaining 6 slices of bread. Butter both sides of sandwich. Grill over medium heat until browned, turning once. Makes 6 sandwiches.
