GREEN BEANS 
4 gal. green beans
4 onions
1 1/2 lbs. bacon

Chop onion in small pieces and cut bacon in small pieces. Fry bacon and saute onions with bacon. Pour off grease. Add 2 cans of green beans and half of onions and bacon. Add remaining beans and top with remaining bacon and onion mixture. Do not stir. Heat slowly in large cooker. Salt and pepper each layer when putting in the cooker.
