LEMON BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
Salt
1/3 c. milk
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
Grated rind of 2 lemons

Mix together butter, sugar and eggs. Stir in flour, salt, baking powder and milk; add lemon rind. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

GLAZE:

Mix juice of 1 lemon with 1/2 cup sugar and spoon over loaf while still hot.
