BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. milk
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs and bananas. Mix (using an electric mixer) until bananas are well mashed. Add flour, milk and soda. Blend thoroughly. Do not overmix. Fold in nuts. Pour batter in 2 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pans. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from pans to cool.
