FUDGE MARBLE CHEESECAKE | |
1 pkg. pudding-included fudge marble cake mix 1/3 c. oil 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. ricotta cheese or sm. curd cottage cheese 1/2 c. dairy sour cream 3 eggs 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 c. whipping cream Grease 9x13 inch pan. Reserve 1 cup dry cake mix and marble pouch, set aside. In a large bowl, combine remaining cake mix, oil and 1 egg at low speed until a soft dough forms. Press in bottom and 1 1/2 inches up sides of greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. In large bowl, combine reserved 1 cup cake mix, 2 eggs, sugar, cream cheese, ricotta cheese, sour cream, and whipped cream at low speed until blended. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the cheese mixture. Pour remaining mixture on crust. Add marble pouch to the 1 1/2 cup cheese mixture and blend well. Spoon chocolate mixture over cheese mixture and marble like a cake by pulling knife through in wide curves. Make sure you don't cut the crust. Bake at 350 degrees 30-40 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly in the center. Do not over bake. To prevent cracking, immediately run knife around edge of pan. Cool completely. Refrigerate until serving time. 15 servings or 36 bars. |
