RANGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening or butter, creamed
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. white sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. Post Toasties, crushed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. pecans, chopped fine

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease cookie sheet. Measure and then crush Post Toasties. Measure out 2 cups flour. Cream butter well. Add sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking powder and baking soda and blend well. Add cereals and nuts and mix well.

Makes very stiff batter. Drop from spoon on greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 6 to 8 minutes at 350°F.

Makes 8 dozen.
