RANGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. coconut
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat well the shortening, white sugar, brown sugar and eggs with electric mixer. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in coconut, Rice Krispies, oatmeal, vanilla and pecans. Spoon walnut size drops of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
