VINEGAR PIE CRUST | |
1 c. plus 3 tbsp. shortening 3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 egg, beaten 5 tbsp. cold water 1 tsp. vinegar Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Mix water, vinegar, egg. Add to shortening and flour mixture and mix well. Roll and place in pie pans. Makes 3 (9 inch) single pie crust. Bake at 425 degrees until golden 8 to 10 minutes. |
