SPINACH QUICHE | |
1 unbaked pie shell 1 pkg. spinach, Birdseye chopped 2 tbsp. butter 3-4 green onions, chopped Salt & pepper 1/4 tsp. nutmeg CUSTARD: 3 lg. eggs Blended with enough milk to make 1 1/2 c. 1/4 c. grated Swiss cheese Saute onions and spinach. Let cook 5 minutes; add custard. Add Swiss cheese to bottom of crust. Next add custard, spinach mixture to pie crust. Bacon bits or fresh bacon crisply fried and broken into bits and mixed with your spinach mixture before putting into pie crust. Bake 30-35 minutes until firm. Let set 5 minutes and then slice. |
