ONIONS BEST FRIED 
My Mom always used to make these onions to go with burgers or hot dogs and I loved them! Even alongside baked chicken or roasts.

You slice up regular onions VERY VERY VERY THIN! Paper thin. Separate into rings. Heat 3 inches oil in large pan on stove. Put 1/2 cup flour, salt and pepper to taste into bag. Add thin, thin onion slices, separated into rings. Toss to coat with flour mixture.

Put one or two handfuls of onions at one time into HOT oil. Fry until they suddenly turn golden. Quickly turn with spatula, and fry other side until golden. When golden, remove with slotted spatula (quickly, it is amazing how quickly they go from "golden" to "burnt") -- put in another batch. Drain on paper towels and keep warm in oven until all ready. They are very sweet, tender, excellent with burgers, CAN'T BE BEAT!
