CHARLOTTE'S COFFEE CAKE 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. Wesson oil
1 heaping tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
Dash vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine first 5 ingredients; reserve 1/2 cup. To remaining flour, add egg, buttermilk, soda, vanilla, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Pour into 9 x 13 inch or two 8 inch square pans. Add nuts to reserved topping - sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
